Purpose of the Technician Activity Detail Report:

This report provides an overview of Technician timesheet activities


Common Uses for this Report

  • Use this report to view the duration of each activity performed by a Technician. 

  • Use this report to view daily totals, and report totals for individual Technicians.


How to Find this Report

Click Reports > Search Technician Activity Detail Report > Click the report name. Then you will be able to set filters and run the report.

Tip: You can also schedule the report by clicking Schedule next to the report name.


Report filters

Technician

Filter by technician. This report can be run by a single technician or all technicians.

Job Business Unit

Filter by job business unit. This report can be run by a single business unit or all business units.

Technician Business Unit

Filter by technician business unit. This report can be run by a single business unit or all business units.

Date range

Filter by date range. Use the From and To fields to set a custom date range.

Show paid reason

Check this checkbox to show the paid reason.


View or download the report

Click Build to view the report.

The report can be downloaded in three different formats:

  • Export to Excel (*.xlsx) (click the dropdown arrow next to Build)

  • Export to Comma separated (*.csv) (click the dropdown arrow next to Build)

You can also print the report as a PDF.

Explanation of report columns

The report includes the following columns:

Invoice #

Invoice number attached to the job (if applicable).

Job BU

Business unit under which the job was performed.

Start

Start time of the timesheet activity.

End

End time of the timesheet activity.

Activity

The activity the technician was performing. For example, driving, Working, Idle, Timesheet Codes.

Duration

Time between start and end of an activity.

Hrs Worked

Cumulative hours of all paid activities up to and including the current activity (if paid).

Regular Time

The portion of the paid Duration that applies to Regular time. This is based on the tenant overtime rules and settings.

Overtime

The portion of the paid Duration that applies to Overtime. This is based on the tenant overtime rules and settings.

Double OT

The portion of the paid Duration that applies to Double Overtime. This is based on the tenant overtime rules and settings.

Paid Reason

If the activity is paid, there will be a short explanation of why.

Note: Click Non-job timesheets to view or add timesheet codes.

Explanation of report totals:

Idle, Driving, Working

A daily total of Idle, Driving, Working time

Total Hours Worked

A daily total of the durations of all paid activities

Total Regular Time

The portion of Total Hours Worked that applies to Regular Time

Total Paid Time Off

A daily total of the durations of all Paid Time Off

Idle, Driving, Working

The total of Idle, Driving, and Working time across all days for which the report was pulled.

Total Hours Worked

The total of the durations of all paid activities across all days for which the report was pulled.

Total Regular Time

The portion of Total Hours Worked that applies to Regular Time across all days for which the report was pulled.

Total Paid Time Off

A daily total of the durations of all Paid Time Off across all days for which the report was pulled.
