Form triggersLast updated on 09/14/2022
Use form triggers to ensure that forms are filled out when needed. When a trigger condition is met, an alert to complete a form appears. For example, when a technician tries to close out a job in ServiceTitan Mobile a departure checklist form opens.
Things to know
Be sure the form you want to trigger is already added to the area of ServiceTitan you want to trigger from. For example, if you want a form to be triggered when arriving at a specific location that form must be added to locations in ServiceTitan.
Add a form trigger
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
. In the side panel, go to Operations > Forms.
In the Trigger column, click Add Trigger or Trigger to add additional triggers to a form.
Form's Triggers opens.
Click Add Trigger.
Using the Trigger Assignment dropdown, select the form type. For example, if you select Job, you’ll set up a trigger tied to an action on a job.
Set up the form trigger. Trigger options vary depending on the form type. For a list of options and what they mean read Form trigger descriptions.
6. When you’re done, click Save.
