Overview of scheduling features

When you enter business hours, you will not only enter the times your business is open, but you will also configure time slots for each day. These business hour time slots will be used as the basis for job scheduling features across ServiceTitan.

  • Capacity Planning - Capacity Planning will help you reduce technician idle time and maximize schedule efficiency. When you use Capacity Planning, business hour time slots will be the basis for setting up technician availability. See Set up capacity planning for more information.

  • Web Appointment Scheduler - You can add ServiceTitan’s Web Appointment Scheduler to your company website, so customers can request appointments online (CSRs will see appointment requests right on the Calls screen). When customers request appointments online, they will see time slots configured in your Business Hours settings (Settings > Operations > Business Hours). See Web Scheduler for more information.

  • Customer Notifications- Customer Notifications (Settings > Communications > Customer Notifications) allows you to send automatic reminder notifications and dispatch notifications to customers. When you enable booking confirmations or reminder notifications, you can use your business hour time slots to provide the customer with an arrival window. How to set up business hours

To set up business hours, complete the following:

  1. Navigate to Settings. On the side panel, click Operations > Business Hours.

  2. Input desired time slots for each day of the week. To delete a time slot, click the Trash icon. To add a time slot, click Add time slot.

  3. If you would like them to be displayed, check Display warning when CSR books job outside of office hours and/or Display warning when CSR overbooks jobs.

  4. When you are finished, click Save.
