Purpose of the Revenue by SKU Report:

This report provides the amount of revenue generated by services in your Pricebook.


Common uses for this report:

  • Use this report to view the name, account, description, quantity, average, and revenue.


How to find this report:

Click Reports > Search Revenue by SKU > Click the report name. Then you will be able to set filters and run the report.


Report filters

Technician

Filter by technician. This report can be run by a single technician or all technicians

Business Unit

Filter by business unit. This report can be run by a single business unit or all business units.

Date Range

Filter by date range. Use the From and To fields to set a custom date range.


View or download the report

Click Update to view the report.

The report can be downloaded in three different formats:

  • Download PDF

  • Export to Excel (*.xlsx) (click the dropdown arrow next to Download PDF)

  • Export to Comma separated (*.csv) (click the dropdown arrow next to Download PDF)


Explanation of Revenue by SKU Columns

The report includes the following columns:

(Report columns)

Name

Name of the service as set up in the Pricebook.

Account

Name of the account tied to that service in the general ledger account field

Description

Description of the service in the Pricebook.

Quantity

How many times the service has been put on an invoice in the date range selected.

Average

Average revenue of the service.

Calculation - Average: [Revenue] / [Quantity]

Revenue

The price of the service multiplied by quantity for the date range.

Calculation - Revenue: [Price of Service] * [Quantity]


Explanation of Revenue by SKU Totals

(Report totals)

Quantity

Quantity is calculated by taking the sum of the entire column.

Calculation - Total Quantity: [Sum of column totals]

Average

Average is calculated by taking the sum of the entire column.

Calculation - Total Average: [Sum of column totals]

Revenue

Revenue is calculated by taking the sum of the entire column.

Calculation - Total Revenue: [Sum of column totals]
