Restrict customer notifications by business unit or job typeLast updated on 03/22/2022

You can restrict sending customer notifications for specific business units (BUs) and job types. By default, notifications are not restricted by BU or job type.

Things to know

  • Customer notifications can be restricted for each type of customer notification, including booking confirmations, reminder notifications, dispatch notifications, and job completion surveys.

  • Restrictions apply across all of ServiceTitan. For example, if you restrict booking confirmations for your HVAC BU, your CSRs won’t be able to select the option to send a booking confirmation during call booking for any job in the HVAC BU.

  • If you restrict a type of customer notification for a specific BU, it prevents all customer notifications of that type for all jobs within that BU. Similarly, if you restrict a notification by a job type, it prevents any notification from being sent for that job type across all BUs.
