You can manually adjust an employee’s PTO balance whenever an employee requests time off.

Things to know

  • Currently, there is no way for employees to request time off themselves. This process must still be managed by an administrator or manager in ServiceTitan.

Request time off

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click your Profile

  2. In the dropdown menu, click Time Off Management.

    The Time Off Management screen opens.

  3. Locate the employee who is requesting the time off and click Edit Edit icon next to the PTO balance. The Edit PTO Balance screen opens. 

  4. Click Subtract from Balance and enter the number of hours the employee is requesting off.

  5. Enter an optional Note to leave a memo for the audit trail. 

  6. When you are done, click ApplyNote: If the employee does not end up taking the requested time off, you can manually adjust their PTO balance and click Add To Balance to add those hours back to their accrued PTO.
