Send PO notifications to technicians using the Purchasing and Inventory modulesLast updated on 10/28/2022

Send a text message or email to your technicians to notify them of shipment pick up details.


Send a notification to your technician

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Inventory.

  2. In the side menu, click Purchase Orders.

  3. Click Partially Received or Received tab.

  4. Select the PO for which you want to send a notification. The Partially Received P.O. or Received P.O. screen opens.

  5. Click Notify Technician. Note: This button is enabled only if a technician is assigned to the PO.

    The Notify Technician pop-up opens.

  6. Select how you want to notify your technician:

    • Send Text

    • Send Email with copy of PO

  7. In the Instructions for Technicians field, enter additional instructions for your technician.

  8. When you’re done, click Send Notification.


View an audit trail of notifications you sent for a PO

If you’re using the Purchasing or Inventory module and you want to see an audit trail of notifications you sent for a PO:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Inventory.

  2. On the side menu, click Purchase Orders.

  3. In the Partially Received or Received tab, select the PO for which you want to see an audit trail.

  4. Click the Comment icon.

    The Comments flyout opens listing the notifications sent out for this PO.
