When you set up your bank with ServiceTitan Payroll Pro, you authorize Check, our payroll partner, to pay your employees, file tax forms, and make payroll tax deposits.
Things to know
State income taxes are calculated based on the location of the business unit (BU) an employee is assigned to.
The Business Unit field of the office employee profile is not used for payroll purposes. Instead, assign a payroll business unit by editing an office employee’s profile. In the Payroll tab, use the Payroll Business Unit dropdown to assign a payroll BU.
Register all BUs that have payrolled employees assigned to them.
Before you start, make sure you have the addresses of your BUs available.
Set up your bank with Payroll Pro
Go to the navigation bar and clickSettings . In the side panel, go to People>Payroll.Payroll Settings opens.
Under Payroll Pro, in the Payroll Pro Configuration section, click Edit.
In the Bank Account & Tax Information section, click Start.
The Check onboarding page opens in a new tab.
On the Check onboarding page, click Get Started.
Review the terms authorizing Check to access payroll funds and click Authorize.
Connect a bank account opens.
Follow the steps to connect your bank with Check.
After you connect your bank account, click Continue.
Enter your federal and state tax details and click Save and Continue.
Follow the steps to fill out Federal Form 8655 and click Continue.Note: IRS Form 8655 authorizes our payroll partner to file forms and make payroll tax deposits on your behalf.
After you review the form, click Authorize to complete the setup.
