This guide shows you how to use GreenSky® and all its neat features. Built right into ServiceTitan, this financing tool empowers you to offer instant financing to eligible customers and set custom financing rules. This lets you control the loan options you offer your customers for specific jobs and automate the financing experience altogether for your team.

Why should I offer financing?

  • Homeowners often obtain financing for high-cost jobs; in fact, 50% of renovations costing over $5,000 are financed.

  • Your technicians will get a “yes” more often to high-cost jobs.

  • Your technicians will be able to close deals faster and take on more jobs.

What are the benefits of using GreenSky® Custom Financing?

  • Technicians are able to walk the customer through the entire loan application process, all within ServiceTitan Mobile.

  • When customers apply for financing through ServiceTitan Mobile, they get a loan decision from GreenSky® in seconds.

  • Eligible customers are able to accept their approved loan immediately. GreenSky® emails customers a confirmation of their application results.

  • Once the customer is approved, the technician is able to enter payment immediately using the GreenSky® account number (just like entering a credit card payment).

Common terms

  • Default Rule—Financing rule that is not tied to a business unit. A job assigned to a business unit that does not have a custom rule loads financing plans according to the default rule.

  • Custom Rule—Financing rule that is tied to specific business units. Any job assigned to these business units loads financing plans according to this custom rule.

  • Default Tier—Financing plans selected in this tier are available for all purchase amounts. Only one financing plan will be used to calculate estimated monthly financing costs.

  • Custom Tier—Financing plans in a custom tier will only be available if you enter a loan amount greater than the specified spend threshold.

  • Spend Threshold—Set dollar amount that triggers a tier and corresponding financing plans to become available to the customer.

  • Default Plan—Selected default plan will be used to calculate the estimated monthly financing cost on each estimate. The default plan from the custom tier with the highest available spend threshold will be used.
