This is a new feature that lets field users view existing measurement records and PDFs and order new measurements from approved providers — EagleView, GAF QuickMeasure, and Hover — directly from a job in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
What's new?
Previously, field users who needed a measurement report for a job had to contact the office or return to a desktop to order or view measurements. Measurement PDFs were not accessible in the Field Mobile App. This created delays between site visits and proposal completion and required extra coordination between field and office teams. Now, users can open any job in the Field Mobile App, go to the Measurements section, view existing measurement records and PDFs, and — if they have the Order Measurements permission — order new measurements from approved providers without leaving the app.

Before (Current)
While on site, you identify that a roof measurement is needed to build a proposal.
You call the office to request a measurement order, or make a note to order it when you return to a desktop.
The office logs in to ServiceTitan on desktop and places the order on your behalf.
After the measurement is ready, the PDF is forwarded to you by email or accessed later from desktop.
You reference the PDF outside of the Field Mobile App to complete the proposal.
Impact: Proposals stall while field and office teams coordinate measurement orders, increasing time-to-quote and the risk of delays on site.
After
While on site, open the job in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
Tap the Measurements section.
View existing measurement records — including provider, date requested, status, and PDF — in the app.
If you have the Order Measurements permission, tap Order Measurement, select a provider, complete the required fields (including map or parcel selection for EagleView and GAF QuickMeasure), and submit.
The new measurement appears with a Processing status.
Impact: Field users can access and order measurement reports from the job screen without involving the office, reducing handoffs and keeping proposals on track during site visits.

Residential Roofing and Exteriors
A roofing salesperson arrives at a home for a damage assessment. They open the job in the Field Mobile App, find the EagleView measurement PDF that the office ordered previously, and use it to build a proposal on the spot — no calls to the office needed.
A technician on a residential re-roof job realizes the original measurement order did not include an attached garage. They tap Order Measurement, select GAF QuickMeasure, drop a pin on the correct structure, and submit the new order from the job screen.
After submitting a Hover order in the field, a salesperson receives a push notification when the measurement is ready. They open the PDF in the app and review dimensions before leaving the site.
How to Prepare?
Have an administrator confirm that measurement integrations and provider mappings are configured for each account location in ServiceTitan on desktop. This is a required prerequisite — mobile only shows providers that are already configured for the account and location.
In user management, confirm that the View Measurements permission is enabled for mobile users who should see measurement records and PDFs. This permission is on by default for all mobile users.
Grant the Order Measurements permission to field users who will place measurement orders from the Field Mobile App. This permission is off by default and must be granted manually by an administrator.
Train field teams on the Measurements section in the Field Mobile App — including how to view PDFs, select a provider, complete provider-specific ordering fields, and interpret measurement statuses (Processing, Ready, Failed).
