Map business units to Technician ScorecardsLast updated on 03/22/2022

The Modular Dashboard includes Technician Scorecards that display up-to-the-minute performance metrics of your business unit divisions as well as metrics for individual technicians. Map business units to divisions to include them on Technician Scorecards.

Things to know

  • Technician Scorecards are based on the business unit (BU) of the completed job invoice items, not technician BU. For example, if Alex works on an HVAC Install job and the HVAC Install BU is assigned to the Install division, Alex’s metrics on that job are included on the Install scorecard, even if he is not assigned to the HVAC Install BU.

  • We recommend that you create BU divisions with the names Install, Maintenance, Service, and Sales. Any additional active divisions have their own scorecards.

  • The Sales scorecard shows KPIs for sales jobs whose BUs are mapped to the scorecard. If a technician sells estimates on a non-sales job, the KPIs appear on that job BU's scorecard in the Sales tab.

Map business units to divisions

You can edit business units to assign them to a division or you can assign them directly from the Modular Dashboard:

  1. From the navigation bar, click Dashboard to open the Modular Dashboard.

  2. Click Change BU Mapping. The Business Unit Mapping screen flies out. Your BUs display in a table.

  3. Click Editicon-pencil.png for the BU you want to assign.

  4. Click the Division dropdown and select a division.

  5. Click Checkicon-check.png to save your changes.

  6. When you’re done, close the Business Unit Mapping screen.

The Technician Scorecards refresh based on your new settings.

Note: Scorecard metrics are affected by dashboard date and BU filters.
