Jumpstart - Trade & business unitsLast updated on 02/23/2023

Enter basic information about your trade and business units. In ServiceTitan, business units are generally divisions in your business. For example, if you run a business that has multiple departments, such as install and sales, classify each department as a business unit in ServiceTitan. This allows you to track revenue and performance in each department separately through our robust reporting features.

Things to know

  • If your trade isn’t listed, select More Options, and then select a trade from the dropdown menu. If you still don’t see your trade, select Other and enter your trade’s name.

  • As a best practice, we automatically create the following business units for each trade you select: install, service, sales, and maintenance.
