Integrate GPSTrackIt with ServiceTitanLast updated on 03/22/2022


Request credentials

To integrate your GPSTrackIt devices with ServiceTitan, you will need to request credentials.


Contact your GPS provider

To obtain your credentials from GPSTrackIt:

  1. Click the Settings tab.

  2. Click Data Exports.

  3. Select the group from the Unit/Group dropdown (there should only be one group named Default Group 1).

  4. Click Get URL.

  5. Click FEED 2. After you click FEED 2, you will be taken to a URL.

  6. Copy the URL and open ServiceTitan.


Add your GPS provider in ServiceTitan

Once you copy the URL from GPSTrackIt, complete the following in ServiceTitan:

  1. Go to Settings > GPS.

  2. Click Add Provider.

  3. Click the Account Details tab.

  4. Select GPSTrackIt from the Name (provider name) dropdown menu.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click the Edit Pencil icon.

  7. Enter the following text into the Parameters field: {"Feed": "http://[PASTE THE URL YOU COPIED HERE]"}

    Note: You do not need to enter any information within the AccountId, Username, Password, or Memo fields.

  8. After you paste the URL in the Parameters field, click Save.

  9. After saving your login credentials, click the Devices tab.

  10. Click Download Data. All of the devices that you have will automatically populate.

  11. Once you see your list of devices, you will need to assign a technician to each device. Note: Each technician should only be assigned to one device. If a technician is assigned to multiple devices, it will cause reporting issues.

  12. Once this process is complete, click Save.
