Manage how the Modular Dashboard displays metrics and set viewing access for specific modules.
Things to know
Modular Dashboard settings apply across your organization.
If you have global permission to view the dashboard but not a specific module, when you visit the Modular Dashboard, that module is missing from view.
The billable efficiency setting for the Modular Dashboard also affects billable efficiency in reports and on Custom Dashboards.
By default, access is enabled for all Modular Dashboard modules.
Edit Modular Dashboard settings
Use settings to control what’s included on the Modular Dashboard:
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.
In the side panel, go to Operations>Dashboards.Dashboard Settings opens.
Click the Modular tab.
Under Modular Dashboard Settings, all setting toggles are turned off by default. Turn a toggle on to enable it. Settings include:
Exclude inactive divisions from the dropdown on tech scorecards—Does not include inactive divisions on technician scorecards
Hide inactive BUs from BU filter—Does not include inactive business units (BUs) in the dashboard BU filterNote: This setting applies to Custom Dashboards as well as the Modular Dashboard.
Hide inactive campaigns from marketing scorecards—Does not include inactive campaigns on marketing scorecards
Use Adjustment invoices in revenue calculations in tech scorecards—Includes adjustment invoices when calculating revenue on technician scorecardsNote: Modular Dashboard date filters apply to the date of the adjustment invoice.
Use all invoice items in billable efficiency calculation—Includes all invoice items when calculating billable efficiency. When off, only income items are used to calculate billable efficiency. Income items are pricebook items mapped to income general ledger (GL) accounts.Note: This setting also affects billable efficiency in reports and on Custom Dashboards.
Your new settings apply immediately.
Set Modular Dashboard access
Manage access to specific modules so office employees with access to the Modular Dashboard only view the modules that are relevant to them.
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.
In the side panel, go to Operations>Dashboards.Dashboard Settings opens.
Click the Modular tab.
Under Modular Dashboard Access, click Edit for the module you want to manage access to.
The access settings screen opens.
Select or deselect View for a company role to enable or disable access to the module.
Note: To set access by individual employee, click Manage by role and select Manage individual users from the dropdown.
When you’re finished, click Save Changes. A confirmation pop-up opens.
Click Save to confirm the action.Note: To apply the new access settings to employees already assigned to that role, select Apply changes to existing users. Otherwise, the new settings only apply to office employees assigned to that role after you save the changes.
