Use GreenSky® Open Spend to view available spendLast updated on 03/22/2022

GreenSky® Open Spend gives you insight into a customer’s available spend for GreenSky® Financing, enabling your team to note when there’s an opportunity to sell additional services.


Things to know

  • To use the feature, you’ll need to turn it on in ServiceTitan. Go to Settings > Integrations > Financing. Click the GreenSky® SETUP tab and toggle the ‘Show GreenSky Remaining Spend’ option to ON (blue). To turn it off, toggle it to OFF (gray). When you’re done, click Save to save your changes.

  • Only GreenSky® applications submitted through the ServiceTitan mobile app apply. GreenSky® loans acquired through a different application or website outside of ServiceTitan are not available with this feature.

  • Spend data shown does not reflect spend activity in real time. GreenSky® sends information to ServiceTitan nightly, which takes 1 to 2 business days for the system to post. For example, if the customer was approved for a $10,000 line of credit and spends $2,000 on the same day, ServiceTitan shows the true balance the next or following day.

  • Only administrators and other office employees can access ServiceTitan Follow Up reporting features for Open Spend. Technicians can see how much spend is available for customers when on the job.


View Open Spend Information

GreenSky® Open Spend appears in Follow Ups:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Follow Up.

  2. In Follow Ups, click Opportunities or Recurring Service Events. Both show Financing Spend Remaining and Financing Spend Expiration data, which is the set date the offer expires between the customer and GreenSky®. Offers have an expiration date and dates differ between customers.

  3. Add filters if you need. Otherwise, the data shown is based on the report default date and information.

Tip: You can also use the GreenSky® Report to view financing information for your customers, including available spend and expiration date data. For more on the report, see GreenSky® Report Guide.


System-generated customer tags

ServiceTitan automatically creates tags for any customer account with a remaining GreenSky® available spend. Once the tags are available, you can see them in the same area where other tag types display: next to the customer name in ServiceTitan and in the ServiceTitan Mobile app for technicians.Note: If a customer has two GreenSky® accounts with available spend, the system generates and displays two tags with the information. So instead of only seeing one tag, you’d see two.
