Attach tags with servicesLast updated on 03/23/2022

You can attach tags to various records when a service item is added to an invoice. For example, for a large equipment installation, you can attach the tag, Needs Ladder, to the service location. When booking jobs, this alerts CSRs to assign a technician equipped with a ladder.


Things to know

  • To attach tags with a membership sales or renewal item, edit the membership type used to sell the membership item to assign tags.

  • Tags appear on an estimate only if the estimate is sold.


Edit a service to attach tags

To generate tags with a service, edit the service item in your pricebook:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. In the side panel, click Services. The item table opens.

  3. Click the Workflow tab.

    The Workflow screen opens.

  4. Under When I add this item to an invoice I want it to:, select Apply TAGTYPE tag to ENTITY. Once you select this box, you can select a tagtype and entity.

  5. Click TAGTYPE and select a tag from the dropdown.

  6. Click the blue Check icon to save the change.

  7. Click ENTITY and select an entity from the dropdown.

    Note: If a TAGTYPE or ENTITY is already selected, click it to edit it.

  8. Click the blue Check icon to save the change.

  9. When you're done, click Save.
