Export your mHelpDesk dataLast updated on 01/13/2023

If you’re migrating your business data from mHelpDesk, you can get started with ServiceTitan faster by exporting and then importing your data to ServiceTitan during onboarding. Instead of manually reentering information about your business, ServiceTitan can automate this process for you, saving you time and money.

To import your mHelpDesk data into ServiceTitan, first export three reports from mHelpDesk:

  • Customers report: Data about your customers. Includes details like customer names and contact information. Exported filename: CustomerList.csv.

  • Contacts report: Data about your contacts. Includes details like usernames, phone numbers, and customer name. Exported filename: ContactsList.csv.

  • Invoices report: Data about your invoices. Includes details like the customer billed, the total amount of the invoice, the invoice date, and the job associated to the invoice. Exported filename: InvoiceList.csv.


Export customers report

To export your customers report from mHelpDesk:

  1. In the side menu, click People. The People menu expands.

  2. Click Customers. The Customers screen opens.

  3. Click the Options dropdown, then click Download Customer CSV. The CustomerList.csv downloads to your computer.


Export contacts report

To export your contacts report from mHelpDesk:

  1. In the side menu, click People. The People menu expands.

  2. Click Contacts. The Contacts screen opens.

  3. Click the Options dropdown, then click Download CSV.  The ContactsList.csv downloads to your computer. 


Export invoices report

To export your invoices report from mHelpDesk:

  1. In the side menu, click Invoices. The Invoices screen opens. 

  2. Click the Total box. All invoices display in the list. 

  3. Click the Options dropdown, then click Download List. The InvoiceList.csv downloads to your computer. 


mHelpDesk report columns

When importing mHelpDesk data into ServiceTitan, the columns in each CSV file must be in the order listed below. If you receive an error when importing your data, verify that the spreadsheet columns appear in the correct order.

Customers report

  3. Country ID

  4. Address 1

  5. Address 2

  6. City

  7. State

  8. Zip

  9. Email

  10. Primary Phone

  11. Fax

  12. Creation Date

  13. Customer Type

  14. Tax

  15. Tax Rate

  6. Secondary Phone

  8. Address 2

Invoices report
  1. Invoice Number

  2. Ticket ID

  3. Customer Name

  4. Issued Date

  5. Due Date

  6. Amount PreTax

  8. Balance
