Customize email templates for customer notifications

  1. Go to Settings > Customer Notifications.

  2. On the Customer Notifications screen, click Email on the row for the notification type you would like to customize.

    In the example above, the Job Completion Surveys notification is the one being customized.

  3. Click the Email tab.

  4. If not already toggled ON, be sure to toggle ON Enable job completion survey emails. Then, click Customize.

  5. The Message preview on the right will change into a list of Personalized tokens you can use to add automatically generated customized content to your template. Drag and drop the desired tokens to the Body section of the Message Content. In the example below, the Service Location Address is being added to the Completion Survey template. This would be useful in the case of customers with multiple service locations where you perform jobs.

    To remove a token already in the Body, hover over it then click Delete.

    Note: If you know HTML or would like to add pre-generated HTML content to your template, feel free to click Edit Html to alter the template directly in code.

  6. When you have finished customizing the template, click Preview Edits to ensure everything looks correct.

  7. The preview will again show up on the right, replacing the Personalized token list. If the preview looks correct, click SAVE.
