Conversion opportunity tags help track how well your technicians sell pricebook items. For example, if you want to track sales of an air filter, you can attach a conversion opportunity tag to the filter in your pricebook. If a job has the same conversion opportunity tag, when the filter is added to the invoice, the job is counted as a successful conversion. You can then run a report that compares conversion opportunities to successful conversions.

Create a tag
To create a conversion opportunity tag, complete the following:
Go to Settings > Tag Types.
Enter the Color, Name, and Code for the tag.
Select the importance of the tag from the drop-down list.
Select Conversion opportunity.
Attach a tag to a pricebook item
You can attach an opportunity tag by editing the item:
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side menu, click Services, Equipment, or Materials, depending on the item you want to edit. The item table opens.
Browse the table or use the search field to find the item you want to edit. You can search by item code, name, or description. Tip: For service and equipment items, click Filters to open the filters menu. You can include items in the table based on price, sold hours, category, and other details. After you set your filters, click Apply.
For the item you want to edit, on the right side of the item table, click More ⠇ and select View/Edit Item.
The Edit Item screen opens.
Click the Conversion Tags dropdown and select the tag you want to use.
When you're done, click Save.
When you book a job that has a conversion opportunity, attach the same conversion opportunity tag to the job. The opportunity is considered converted when the technician on the job adds the item to the invoice. This allows you to track the success of conversion opportunities when running the Tag Conversion Report by Technician.
