When you open the Construction Dashboard, the top section shows a snapshot of the day’s business metrics including revenue trends and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Additional sections below have reporting on project information, job status, and labor hours
Things to know
Create a standalone business unit (BU) for Construction so you can view your Construction metrics and reporting separate from the rest of your business. This helps you analyze Construction data while preserving the ability to also report on other business units.
By default, the Modular Dashboard is shown when you navigate your Dashboard unless you have set a different dashboard as your default. Click the dashboard you want to view, and bookmark the dashboard you want to be defaulted to increase efficiency.
By default, the Construction Dashboard shows reporting for the current day for all your business units (BUs) regardless of trade or division. You can filter the dashboard for specific dates and BUs.
Only invoice items connected to an Income GL Account will show on the dashboard.
Revenue
The Revenue section displays a meter showing completed and missed job revenue.
The meter is based on two KPIs:
Total Revenue: Completed Revenue + Non-job Revenue + Adjustment Revenue. Completed Revenue is the sum of income items on completed job invoices. Income items are pricebook items assigned to an income general ledger (GL) account.
Missed: Estimated missed revenue from unbooked calls, unconverted jobs, and canceled jobs. Missed revenue is calculated based on booking rates and job invoice averages from the last 30 days.
Trends
This section displays interactive revenue trends by month or by week.
18 Month Trend
By default, the dashboard displays a bar graph of total revenue for the last 18 months.
Tip: Hover over a month to view the revenue totals for that month compared to the same month from the previous year.
Week Trend
Click Week Trend to view a graph of weekly revenues for the last 26 weeks.

Project Information
The Project Information section of the Construction Dashboard is a report from the Invoices dataset which provides you with invoice data for your projects.
With the Project Information you can:
Arrange and filter the report similar to any custom report. Additionally, you can filter by:
Invoice Date: Date of the invoice
Job Completion Date: The date the job was completed
Creation Date: The date the job was booked
Job Start Date: The date the job is scheduled to begin
Last Paid On Date: The most recent date that payment was made on the invoice
Open records directly from the report by clicking the Invoice#, Job#, or Customer Name.
Scroll to the bottom of the report to find totals for some of the columns in the report. For example, at the bottom of the Invoice# column, you can find the total number of invoices that are in the report.
Click Export to export the report to an XLSX or PDF file.
Click the Balance for each invoice to drill down for invoice items.
Project Job Status Gauge
The Project Job Status Gauge section of the Construction Dashboard is a report from the Project Job Costing dataset which provides you with data on the status of each project you have.
With the Project Job Status Gauge you can:
Arrange and fitler the report similar to any custom report. Additionally, you can filter by:
Job Start/Completed: Filter for projects with jobs with start or completion dates within the date range.
Estimate Sold On: Filter for projects whose first sold estimate was sold within the date range.
Open records directly from the report by clicking the Project number or Customer.
Click Export to export the report to an XLSX or PDF file.
Scroll to the bottom of the report to find data for each column. For example, at the bottom of the Currently Scheduled column, you can find the Count, Count Distinct, Sum, Average, Minimum, and Maximum for that column.
Project Labor Hours
The Project Labor Hours section of the Construction Dashboard reports the hours dedicated to each project. The hours are also broken down giving you data on how the hours were spent on a project. This report is using the Project Job Costing dataset.
With the Project Labor Hours you can:
Arrange and filter the report similar to any custom report. Additionally, you can filter by
Job Start/Completed: Filter for projects with jobs with start or completion dates within the date range.
Estimate Sold On: Filter for projects whose first sold estimate was sold within the date range.
Open records directly from the report by clicking the Project number or Customer.
For each project, click the Driving Hours,Working Hours, Overtime Hours, Total Time In Hours, Project Estimate Sales, or Percentage Of Sold Estimates Installed to drill down for additional information.
Click Export to export the report to an XLSX or PDF file.
Scroll to the bottom of the report to find data for each column. For example, at the bottom of the Project Number column, you can find the Count and Count Distinct for that column.
Working Hours By Project
The Working Hours By Project section of the Construction Dashboard displays a column chart where you can track the total number of hours for each project.
By default, the chart is filtered by Job Start/Completed date. You can click Filters to update this.
Estimates By Status
The Estimates By Status section of the Construction Dashboard displays a bar chart where you can track estimate status by Sold and Open status.
