After you set up the California Compliance Invoice, customer invoices update with the information you entered. The example below walks you through a California Compliance Invoice.


Example of a California Compliance Invoice

The invoice includes:

  • Company contact information at the top

  • Invoice number in bold red typeface

  • License number

  • Completion date, technician name, and technician license number

The contract price and approximate start and complete date are listed automatically.

Specific California Compliance language is automatically added.

Customer authorization includes insurance information regarding commercial general liability (CGL) and worker’s compensation.

New California Compliance language regarding customers’ right to a copy of the invoice is automatically added. The list of documents follows.

Information on the three-day right to cancel is displayed.

Information on where to send the 3-day cancellation notice matches the contact information in the header.
