Technician Dashboard - Revenue reportLast updated on 03/22/2022

The Technician Dashboard - Revenue report shows revenue-related metrics for your technicians. Each line in the report represents a technician. The report includes key performance indicators (KPIs) that correspond to Technician Scorecards on the Modular Dashboard so you get a more detailed view of your dashboard metrics.

Things to know

  • Reported revenue KPIs are based on the BU of the invoice item. Item BU is listed on invoices.

  • Invoice items default to the job BU unless:

    • You assign BUs to items in your pricebook

    • The item BU is manually updated

    • You update the BU on the job and your account is not configured to automatically update invoice item BUs

    Note: These features require account configuration. Contact Technical Support for details.

  • Adjustment invoices where Include adjustment invoice amount in technician performance reports is deselected are not included in Adjustment Revenue totals.

Run report

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.

  2. In the Technician Dashboard section, click the Revenue report.Tip: To filter the reports listed onscreen, click the Categories dropdown and select Technician Dashboard.

    The report opens.

  3. Click the From - To field to set date filters. You can:

    • Use the calendar to select a specific date range and click Apply.

    • Use the left menu to select a preset date range:

      • Today: From 12:00 AM to the current time

      • Yesterday: Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

      • Last 7 Days: Previous seven days, including the current date

      • Last 14 Days: Previous 14 days, including the current date

      • Last 30 Days: Previous 30 days, including the current date

      • Month to Date: From the first of the current month to the current day

      • Last Month: Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.

      • Last 90 Days: Previous 90 days, including the current date

      • This Quarter: Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.

      • Last Quarter: Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.

      • Quarter to Date: From the first day of the current quarter to the current day

      • Year to Date: From January 1 of the current year to the current day

      • Last 365 Days: Previous 365 days, including the current date

    Note: How date filters are applied depends on the KPI. Hover over a column header in the report to open a tooltip explaining how filters are applied.

  4. Click the Business Unit dropdown and select the business units (BUs) of the invoice items you want to include in the report. By default, the report runs for all BUs. You can filter your report by business units or business unit categories:

    • Click the dropdown to select individual BUs.

    • To report on BU categories such as trade or division, click Filter icon-filter.png, select the BU categories you want to include, and click Filter.

  5. Select Include Inactive Technicians to include inactive technicians who worked on jobs during the date range.

  6. When you’re done setting your filters, click Run Report.

Tip:Click Edit Columns to add and remove columns. For further customization, you can also arrange and filter your results.

Read report results

Each line of the Technician Dashboard - Revenue report represents a technician. The report includes the following columns:

  • Name—Name and profile photo of the technician

  • Completed Revenue—Sum of income items on jobs completed within the date range, adjusted by technician split Note: Income items are pricebook items assigned to an income general ledger (GL) account.

  • Opportunity Job Average—Average revenue from job opportunities, adjusted by technician split Note: A job opportunity is a completed job not marked as No Charge, or is marked as No Charge with an invoice subtotal that meets the job type sold threshold.

  • Opportunity Conversion Rate—Percent of job opportunities whose invoice subtotal meets the job type sold threshold

  • Opportunity—Total number of job opportunities

  • Converted Jobs—Total number of completed jobs whose invoice subtotal meets the job type sold threshold

  • Customer Satisfaction—Average customer satisfaction score from 0 to 5 based on ServiceTitan survey responses

  • Adjustment Revenue—Revenue from adjustment invoices within the date range

  • Completed Revenue with Adjustments—Sum of completed revenue and adjustment revenue

Tip: You can arrange report columns and apply filters for further customization.

Drill down in reports

You can drill down in reports to get additional details:

  1. Click an underlined entry you want to drill down into. For example, click an entry in the Completed Revenue column. The entry is highlighted.

  2. In the highlighted entry, click Expand icon-carat-right.png. A table opens in the report showing details for that entry including job and invoice numbers, relevant dates, and more.

    Tip: Click a job or invoice number to open the corresponding record in a new tab.
