Customer List reportLast updated on 03/22/2022

The built-in Customer List report lists all your customers including contact information, plus lifetime revenue, job, and invoice details.

Example Customer List reports:

  • Create a mailing list of all active customers

  • Research top customers based on lifetime revenue


Run the report

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Reports.

  2. Click the Customer List report.Tip: In the search field, enter a few letters from the report title for quick access.

    The report opens.

  3. Click the From - To field to select a date range to report on. You can:

    • Use the calendar to select a specific date range and click Apply.

    • Use the left menu to select a preset date range:

      • Today: From 12:00 AM to the current time

      • Yesterday: Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

      • Last 7 Days: Previous seven days, including the current date

      • Last 14 Days: Previous 14 days, including the current date

      • Last 30 Days: Previous 30 days, including the current date

      • Month to Date: From the first of the current month to the current day

      • Last Month: Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.

      • Last 90 Days: Previous 90 days, including the current date

      • This Quarter: Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.

      • Last Quarter: Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.

      • Quarter to Date: From the first day of the current quarter to the current day

      • Year to Date: From January 1 of the current year to the current day

      • Last 365 Days: Previous 365 days, including the current date

  4. From the Business Unit dropdown, select the business units (BUs) you want to report on. By default, the report runs for all BUs. You can filter your report by business units or business unit categories:

    • Click the dropdown to select individual BUs.

    • To report on BU categories such as trade or division, click Filter icon-filter.png, select the BU categories you want to include, and click Filter.

    Note: By default, the report displays all active customers. How BU filters are applied depends on the key performance indicator (KPI). Hover over a column header for details.

  5. To include inactive customers, select Show Inactive Customers.

  6. When you're finished setting filters, click Run Report.


Read report results

The report results are ordered by Last Job Completed.

The report includes the following columns:

  • Customer ID—Unique identifier assigned to each customer. Click to open the corresponding customer profile in a new tab.

  • Customer Name—Name of the customer

  • TypeResidential or Commercial customer type

  • Phone Number—Phone number of the customer

  • Email—Email address of the customer

  • Full Address—Billing address of the customer

  • Do Not Mail—Customers marked as Do Not Mail have opted out of receiving email and text notifications

  • Do Not Service—Customers marked as Do Not Service cannot have jobs booked with them

  • Customer Tags—Any tags attached to the customer profile

  • Last Job Completed—Date of the last completed job

  • Lifetime Revenue—Sum of income items on all job invoices. BU filter applies to invoice items. Date filters do not apply.

  • Lifetime Jobs Completed—Count of all completed jobs. Date filters do not apply.

  • Lifetime Invoices—Count of all invoices. Date filters do not apply.

Note: After you run a report, click the Export dropdown and select Export to PDF or Export to XLSX to download an exported copy of the report to use in other applications.
