Add and edit business unit categoriesLast updated on 09/09/2022
Use business unit categories to group your business units (BUs) by trade and division. You can view dashboard metrics and run reports by trade and division, giving you additional ways to measure your business performance.
For example, if your business services the HVAC and electrical trades, you can run reports on the sales divisions of both trades, or filter a report for all BUs assigned to your electrical trade.
Things to know
You can assign a BU to a single trade and a single division.
By default, administrators can edit business unit categories. To grant access for other users, set permissions for an employee and select the Edit Business Units permission.
Business unit categories are optional. They’re used for report and dashboard filtering and don’t affect dispatching or your job workflow.
