Add subitems in ServiceTitan MobileLast updated on 03/31/2022

Add subitems when building packages or increasing the scope of work without giving homeowners visibility into material prices or hourly rates. Subitems are visible in ServiceTitan Mobile and from the office, but do not appear on customer-facing estimates and invoices. You can add subitems without revealing their costs to customers.


Things to know

  • Currently, subitems can only be added in ServiceTitan Mobile.


Add a subitem to an invoice

  1. In Dashboard>Overview, find the job you want and tap View Current Job.

  2. In the side menu, tap Invoice.

  3. Under Items & Chargeable Materials, tap the invoice item to which you want to add a subitem.

  4. Tap + Sub-Item.

  5. Tap + on the item you want to add as a subitem, then tap Done.

  6. Tap Save.


View a subitem on an estimate

  1. In Dashboard>Overview, find the job you want and tap View Current Job.

  2. In the side menu, tap Estimate then tap the estimate you want to view.

  3. Tap the item containing a subitem in the Items & Chargeable Materials section.

  4. In the Edit details window, tap the sub-item you want to view under Items & Chargeable Materials.

  5. Tap Close.
