Why is an item price changing on invoices, and how can it be resolved?

Problem

Item prices change on certain invoices due to dynamic pricing being applied instead of a fixed, static price. This occurs when the Use Static Prices option is not enabled for the item in the Pricebook

Solution

Edit the item

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. Find the item and click Edit.

  3. Check the box for Use Static Prices.
