What you're seeing
Your customers are getting scam calls that appear to come from your ServiceTitan phone number. They call you confused or upset about a call they never made, or one you never placed, and your business gets blamed for it. This can happen to any of your ServiceTitan numbers, with no way to predict which one a scammer will target next.
Why this happens
Spoofing happens outside ServiceTitan's network — a scammer displays your number as their caller ID without your phone number ever being involved in placing the call. ServiceTitan can't detect who's doing this or reverse it, because the spoofed call never touches ServiceTitan or your carrier in the first place. The only options are to limit who can reach the real number.
How to fix it
Run these checks in order. Most issues are resolved by Check 1.
1If you use Basic Phones, remove the spoofed number
Contact ServiceTitan Support at go.servicetitan.com/ask and ask to be connected with a Telecom Specialist.
Give them the spoofed phone number so they can remove it from ServiceTitan.
✓ Done · Once the number is removed, it can no longer receive calls, which stops customers from reaching a number scammers are spoofing.
2If you use Phones Pro, reassign the number to the Reserve Pool
Go to the top toolbar and click Settings.
Select Phones Pro > Phone Numbers.
Find the spoofed phone number and click Edit.
Under Assign number to target, select Reserve Pool.
Click Save.
✓ Done · The number stops receiving calls but stays in your account, so you can reassign it later if needed.
