# What is the process for removing a ZIP code from the Not in service area in ServiceTitan?

## Problem

A ZIP code appears under a customer profile's Zone as *Not in Service Area* because it was not added to a zone.

## Solution

1. In the top toolbar, click **Settings** ![A simple icon representing a settings gear.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-gnav-settings-inactive.png) **>** **Operations > Zones**.
2. Find the zone you want to add the ZIP code to. If it does not exist, create a new zone:
  1. To add to an existing zone, click the zone name.
  2. To create a new zone, click **Add**.
3. Enter the missing ZIP Code in the designated field:
  1. If adding to an existing field, enter the ZIP code in the **Zip Codes** field.
  2. If creating a new zone, follow the prompts to name the zone and add the ZIP code.
4. Save your changes.

By following these steps, you should successfully add the ZIP code to a service zone, removing it from the *Not in Service Area* status.
