View and respond to chargebacks in Payments Insider for Elavon

Overview

If you use Elavon for processing payments, you can view chargeback records in Payments Insider. Payments Insider is the customer portal for Elavon.

View the chargeback report in Payments Insider

Locate the associated invoice in ServiceTitan

When responding to a chargeback in Payments Insider, you can upload the associated invoice to provide details of the transaction being disputed.

To locate the invoice associated with a chargeback in ServiceTitan:

1. Follow the steps mentioned in How to View and Respond to Chargeback Disputes in Payments Insider.

2. Locate and click on the chargeback you want to dispute.

3. On the details screen, locate and make a note of the transaction authorization code.

4. In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Search .

5. Click the Search dropdown and select Payment.

6. On the Authorization Code field, enter the authorization code found on the chargeback details.

7. When finished, click Search .

8. Find and click the invoice associated with the chargeback.

9. Click Print  to open the invoice in print format.

10. Click Download to download a copy of the invoice.
