# Tax Zones Not Auto-Populating on POS Invoices

## Problem

Sales made using the POS Module are not automatically populating a tax zone.

## Solution

1. On the navigation bar, go **Settings > Invoicing > POS Locations**.
2. Click the **More** (three dots) icon on the POS location you want to edit.
3. Set a tax zone on the POS Location.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** If you don't set a tax zone on the POS Location, you will have to manually choose a tax zone for each counter sales invoice.

In most states POS depends on the location of the transaction taking place. If this is the case in your state, the POS location should have its own tax zone that is used based on where it is physically. Please check with your accountant for your state's Sales Tax Laws.
