# Tax on Sold Estimate Not Calculating Correctly

## Problem

The tax figure on a sold estimate is showing an amount, but when booked into a job with no changes to the estimate, the tax amount is different.

## Solution

If prices have changed and the pricebook items have been updated since the estimate has been created, the prices or tax zone will not update. To resolve this issue, duplicate the estimate after pricebook items are updated.

1. Go to the estimate that needs to be duplicated.
2. On the estimate screen, click the **Duplicate Estimate** icon.
3. Update the pricebook items.
4. [Sell the new estimate](/v1/docs/sell-estimates-in-servicetitan).
5. The tax should now be calculated correctly.
