# Set Web Scheduler for Homeowners

## Overview

With the Web Scheduler widget tool configured and set up on the websites of your service providers, you can schedule and book jobs according to your availability and provide details of the required job.

## Things to know

- Web Scheduler can identify customers by the phone numbers associated with their customer records.
- Some phone numbers can be connected to multiple locations. This is why customer identification requires more information.
- ServiceTitan Technical Support cannot help with installing the web scheduler code. You should first partner with your web developers for assistance, based on the information in this article.

## Schedule an appointment

With the *Customer Identification*feature in Web Scheduler, you save time in creating appointments for the services you need.

2. On the Web Scheduler welcome page, choose a ***Service***. This opens the **Issue Types** list.

4. In the *Issue*step, select the **Issue Type** and enter a brief **Description** of your issue.

6. In the *Customer*step, enter your **Phone**number. You can also opt into receiving text messages at the number you provide related to your request, appointment updates, and notifications by clicking the checkbox. When finished, click **Next**.   1. If the phone number matches your customer record in the service company system. The *Details*step opens to select a previous address to service. You can also enter a new address by selecting **New Address**. In the fields that appear, enter the full address of the service location. > **Note:**Address field names may differ depending on the country you choose. For example, if you’re in the United States, you’ll see the**State**and **Zip Code** fields. If you’re in Canada, you’ll see the **Province** and **Postal Code** fields.
  2. If the system found more than one customer record connected to this phone number, in the *Details*step, enter your **First**and**Last Names.** This narrows down options and helps the system identify your record. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/set-web-scheduler-for-homeowners-image-tgwvtrv3.png)
  3. If the system can’t find your record by the phone number you entered, the *Details*step opens.
    1. Enter your *Personal Information*, including your **First Name**, **Last Name**, and a valid **Email**.

    3. Enter the full address of the **Service Location**.
    4. When you’re finished, click **Next**. The *Select Appointment* step opens.

8. In the *Review*step, make sure that all the booking information looks correct.
9. Choose whether you want to receive booking information through **SMS**or **Email**. > **Note:****To edit the booking information, click **Edit**. This returns you to the appropriate step.
10. When you’ve finished, click **Book Appointment**to view the confirmation of the actions. Your appointment is booked, click **Close** to exit.
