Set up Google Local Services Ads Integration

Prev Next

Overview

When a customer searches Google for a service and taps Get Quote on your Local Services Ad, ServiceTitan can now capture their contact information in CRM or Bookings, depending on your setup. If you have Virtual Agent, Speed to Lead can also text the customer back inside Google's own conversation thread — no manual monitoring required.

Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, CSRs

  • Applies to all business types

  • Applies to all trades

Feature configuration

  • This feature is currently in Early Access and available for certain accounts. It is subject to change.

Things to know

  • Requires an existing Google Ads integration connection — set that up first if you haven't already.

  • Automated conversation follow-up requires Virtual Agent or ServiceTitan Max. Without one of those, you still get lead capture and the automatic first reply, but no ongoing AI follow-up.

  • The phone number ServiceTitan receives for these leads is a Google tracking number, not the customer's real number.

  • There is no test environment available for this integration yet.

  • Job type to business unit mapping must be completed in Marketing Integrations > Marketing Ads setup flow.

Best practices

  • Set a clear, prompt auto-reply message. Speedy responses directly affect your ranking on Google Local Services Ads — a slow or missing reply can push you below other businesses.

  • Confirm your Google Local Services campaign is live on the connected account before turning on Lead Sync, or no leads will come through.

  • If you have Virtual Agent or ServiceTitan Max, set up a Speed to Lead campaign with the exact source Google Local Services so automated follow-up can run.

Use cases

  • A plumbing company receives a "Get Quote" message on Google after hours. The auto-reply responds immediately, and Speed to Lead texts the customer back within minutes to get the job scheduled.

  • A contractor without Virtual Agent still captures every GLSA message lead as a CRM lead instead of losing it to a missed notification in their personal Google account.

Step 1: Connect and configure Google Local Services Ads lead capture

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings.

  2. In the side panel, go to Integrations > Marketing Integrations.

  3. Click the Google Ads tile and confirm your Google Ads account is connected.

How to turn on "Get Quote" message leads in Google

Before ServiceTitan can capture your Google Local Services Ads "Get Quote" leads, you need to turn on message leads in your Google account. Where you do this depends on which Google Ads experience you're using.

If you use classic Local Services Ads:

  1. Go to your Local Services Ads Profile & budget dashboard.

  2. Scroll to the Settings section.

  3. Turn on Message Leads.

  4. Under Select messaging preferences for receiving leads, choose how you want to be notified — Email and/or Text message — and confirm the phone number Google should use.

If you use the new unified Google Ads experience (migrated dashboard):

  1. Go to Campaigns > Settings.

  2. Open Conversion goals.

  3. Check Leads from messages (next to Phone call leads).

  4. Click Change campaign goals, then Save.

Once this is turned on in Google, ServiceTitan can start capturing these "Get Quote" leads automatically.
