You can manage access to membership-related features through account permissions.

  • Administrators

  • Primarily benefits Residential Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

Things to know

Set office employee permissions

To change an individual employee’s permissions, edit their employee record:

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, go to People > Employees.

  3. Click Edit for the employee whose permissions you want to set.

  4. In the Edit Employee record, click Permissions.

  5. In the Memberships, Campaigns, & Follow Ups section, select or deselect memberships-related permissions:

    • Edit membership type: Can edit membership types

      Note: This permission does not allow the employee to edit individual customer memberships.

    • Edit recurring service type: Can edit recurring service types

      Note: This permission does not allow the employee to edit individual customer recurring services.

    • Edit customer membership: Can edit membership on customer records or locations

    • Sell or renew a membership from customer or location: Enables Sell Membership button on customer and location records

    • Access Dismiss button on Recurring Service Events page: Can dismiss multiple recurring service events in Follow Ups and customer membership records

  6. When finished, click Save Changes.

Set technician permissions

To change an individual technician’s permissions, edit their technician record:

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .  

  2. In the side panel, go to People >Technician.

  3. Find the technician you want to set permissions for and click Edit.

  4. In the Edit Technician record, click Permissions.

  5. Select or deselect memberships-related permissions:

    • Mobile add on checkbox: Enables the APPLY MEMBERSHIP ADDON button, allowing technicians to sell membership add-ons.

  6. When you’re done, click Save Changes.
