Send PO notifications to technicians using Line Items on POs

Overview

Send a text message or email to your technicians to notify them of shipment pick up details.


Who uses this feature

  • Managers, purchasing team, and technicians

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. To update your account, please contact your success or implementation manager for details.

  • This feature can be used with Line Items on POs.

Note: This feature has been updated for most users and the processes are different. See Send purchase order alerts and notifications for the updated version.

Send a notification to your technician

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Invoice.

  2. In the side menu, click Purchase Orders.

  3. Click the Received tab.A cursor clicking the

  4. Select the PO for which you want to send a notification.
    The Purchase order details flyout opens.

  5. Click Notify Technician.

    Note: This button is enabled only if a technician is assigned to the PO.

  6. Select how you want to notify your technician:

    1. Send Text

    2. Send Email with copy of POA cursor selecting how to notify technician.

  7. In the Instructions for Technicians field, enter instructions for your technician.

  8. When you're done, click Send Notification.
