Overview: Send PO alerts and notifications

Overview

Use purchase order (PO) alerts to keep your team updated on PO statuses and shipment activity. Send notifications via text message or email to communicate important information about POs without the need to be physically present at the office or warehouse, or on repeated phone calls and messages.

Send PO status alerts and notifications

With PO alerts, you can:

• Send PO status alerts based on PO type to technicians and purchasing team. To set up alerts based on PO type, see Send PO status alerts.

• Send PO notifications to technicians with shipment pick up details. Click the version of purchasing you're using for more on this feature:

  • Truck Replenishment

  • Line Items on POs

  • Purchasing or Inventory module
