Overview
When Service Finance loan options are set up in ServiceTitan, technicians and office employees can offer Financing to customers by emailing them a link to their estimates in an online portal. Customers select from available financing plans and can apply for a Service Finance loan. Things to know
To use this feature, you will first need to:
Set up online Estimates — You can customize your Invoice email template to include the {OnlineEstimateLink} text.
Enable Service Finance in Online Estimates
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Integrations > Financing.
This opens the Financing page with 3 tabs: Providers, Settings, and Pre-qualifications.
Click the Settings tab.
In the Presentation section (Configure how financing is displayed to customers), check Allow customers to apply for financing through online estimates.

Once checked, an Online Estimates Provider drop-down appears — select which financing provider (for example, ServiceFinance) should be used for the Online Estimates flow.
Click Save.
This same Settings tab also includes Preferred Provider (the default financing provider used to calculate estimated monthly price) and Second-Look Provider (a backup provider offered to customers declined by your primary provider), plus a Presentation Type choice (Lead with total price / Lead with monthly payment / Only display total price / Only display monthly payment) that controls what customers see when applying for financing in ServiceTitan Mobile — these are separate from the Online Estimates setting above but live on the same page. Once enabled, the Service Finance integration is automatically included on all estimates accessed through the Online Estimates Portal.
Invite customers to complete the Service Finance application
You can invite customers by emailing them a link to view their estimates online — this can be done from both the mobile and office versions of ServiceTitan. See Use Online Estimates.
Online estimates workflow
Send an Estimate email to the customer with a link to the Online Estimates Portal.
On the estimate page, the customer sees the proposal, total price, an estimated monthly payment (for example, "Est. monthly payment of $130.21/mo for 60 mo"), and Apply for Financing and Financing Terms links.
If the customer is already pre-qualified, a banner reading "You're pre-qualified for up to $[amount]" appears with a Continue to Credit Application button to speed through the full application.
When ready, the customer clicks Sign & Accept Estimate to accept the estimate, or Apply for Financing to finance it first

Customer clicks Apply for Financing; the Apply for Financing with Service Finance window opens showing the Desired Financed Amount (pre-filled from the estimate total, editable) and a Select a Plan screen.
Available plans display automatically based on the amount and the merchant's configured rules/rate sheets — for example, a lower-payment/deferred-interest plan and a fixed-rate plan — each showing minimum (and, where applicable, suggested) payment, term, max APR, and a plan description.
The customer clicks Select Plan on the plan they want.

The application form opens with four steps:
Applicant — Personal Information — name, email, phone, date of birth, Social Security number, gross monthly income, income type, employer name, citizenship status — and Identification — ID type, ID number, issue/expiration dates, state.

Job details — Address where the work will be performed, Residence Type — Own with mortgage, Own outright, or Rent — Improvement Type, and whether it's a mobile or manufactured home).

Co-applicant — Whether there is a co-applicant.

Disclosures — Credit-report and application disclosures, with agreement checkboxes.

The customer clicks Next after each step, then clicks Submit Application on the Disclosures step. This submits the application for a credit check.
Service Finance returns one of four loan decisions, which can take a few minutes depending on connection:
Approved (the loan is approved and can be used immediately).
Declined (contact Service Finance for guidance on approval).
Under Review (contact Service Finance for details).
Counter Offer (the customer is approved for a different plan than they applied for; usable immediately).
On approval, the Decision step displays "Congratulations! Your loan application was approved." along with the Loan Details (Application ID, Date, Loan Amount, Term, Max APR, Monthly Payment, Plan Description).
The customer clicks Next.

The wizard advances to E-sign Agreement. The customer reads the Federal ESIGN Disclosure and Consent, selects Yes, I consent (or No, I do not consent), and clicks Next.

The wizard advances to Signature, which displays the loan agreement documents:
The customer types their name into the Applicant Signature field — it must exactly match the name on the application — then clicks Submit.
A Skip Signature option is also available.

ServiceTitan displays a "Your loan application is complete" confirmation with the final Loan Details (Application ID, Date, Loan Amount, Term, Max APR, Monthly Payment, Plan Description). The customer clicks Done. The loan is now active and available for use.
