Overview

With Import in Scheduling Pro, you can bring over your existing setup from Schedule Engine to get started faster. These options help save time and ensure consistency when managing multiple schedulers.

  • Administrators, office employees, managers, dispatchers, and customer service representatives (CSRs)

Things to know

  • When importing from Schedule Engine, supported settings such as questions, campaigns, and tags are transferred, but unsupported formats and flows over four questions are skipped.

  • After importing a scheduler, always review and update tenant-specific settings such as job types, campaigns, business units, and tags to ensure everything aligns with your current setup.

  • When migrating from Schedule Engine, use the import option in Scheduling Pro to carry over your existing setup and avoid rebuilding from scratch.

Import Scheduler from Schedule Engine

Import your scheduler using setup information from a Schedule Engine account. This option is only available if you already have an existing Scheduling Pro schedule. To import from Schedule Engine:

  1. Within WorkConnect, click Create Scheduler >  Create from Import.

    On the Import Scheduler screen, you need to go through 2 steps to import the scheduler.

    Step 1: Select the Source

  2. On  Source Selection screen, select Import from Schedule Engine and click Next.

    Step 2: Map Custom Questions to the Job Types

  3. Click the Job Type dropdown and select the job type you want to map to the Issue Path.

  4. (Optional) Click Copy to copy job type to other issue paths.

  5. (Optional) To delete a trade, click.

  6. When finished, click Next to import your scheduler setup. After the import is completed, you can see a confirmation pop-up. You imported the following settings:

    1. Brand Name

    2. Whitelisted Websites

    3. Booking Preferences - Jobs vs. Bookings

    4. MP Ads Integration Settings

    5. Default Campaign

    6. Default Business Unit

    7. Default Tag(s)

    8. Custom Questions/Answers and job type mapping
      Settings imported from Schedule Engine, including brand name and booking preferences.


This gives you a head start by importing some settings. Review the imported and remaining Scheduling Pro settings before launching your scheduler.
