# Manually adjust Capacity Planning (ACP)

## Overview

The Capacity Planning Board shows the number of work hours and technicians available for job appointments at a given time slot or arrival window. If needed, you can use the board to manually adjust time slots for Adjustable Capacity Planning (ACP).

## Things to know

All employees can view the Capacity Planning Board, but only employees with the *Manually Adjust Capacity* permission can manually adjust capacity.

## View the Capacity Planning Board

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Schedule ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/manually-adjust-capacity-planning-acp-image-iha64c2t.png)**.

In the Capacity Planning Board that opens:

- You can view technician availability by the hour.
- Time slots are organized by business units (BUs) and displayed by the day.
- You can customize your view by using the **Filter** to show or hide business unit groups. When finished, click **Apply**.

> **Tip:** To hide a business unit group, click the **Delete**![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-close.png) icon next to it.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** You can also click the middle of a time slot to see a summary, including the total amount of work booked, the total amount of technician time available, and any manual adjustments made to the time slot window.

## Manually adjust an individual time slot

2. Click the **Capacity Planning** tab.

## Manually adjust multiple time slots

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Schedule ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/manually-adjust-capacity-planning-acp-image-uuz1na3y.png)**.
2. Click the **Capacity Planning** tab.

4. Select the time slots you want to edit:

5. Click the **plus** or **minus** icon to specify the number of hours you want to add or subtract.

> **Tip:** You can use your keyboard to enter the correct number of hours you want to add or subtract.
6. Click **Submit** to adjust the capacity for all selected time slots.

Now, when you view an availability summary, you see the time slots have been manually adjusted.
