Manage intracompany transfers

Overview

You can request items from other tenants in your group using a real-time transfer workflow. This keeps inventory moving and reduces delays.

Feature configuration

  • This feature is currently in Early Access and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, join the waitlist here.

Manage intracompany transfers

  1. In the navigation bar, click Inventory, then click Intracompany Transfers.

  2. On the Intracompany Transfers screen that opens, click the Incoming Requests tab.

  3. Select the request you want to approve.

  4. On the request record that opens, review the details and do one of the following:

    1. Click Approve to approve the request. For more see Approve the transfer request.

    2. Click Reject to reject the request. For more, see Reject the transfer request.

    3. Click More Actions, then Edit to update the requested quantity.

    4. Click Commentto open the Comments screen, add details, and click Add Reply.

    5. Click Downloadto download the request as an XLS or PDF file.

Approve the transfer request

  1. On the transfer request record, click Approve. The transfer request status is set to Approved.

  2. Click Mark as Picked. The transfer request status is set to Picked and the picked quantity is updated accordingly.

  3. When you actually transfer the item from one organization to another click Mark as Shipped.A cursor clicking the Mark as Shipped button.

The transaction status is set to Shipped and transfer automatically creates inventory adjustments with a Pending export status.

When the item actually lands at your location, you can receive it. For more, see Receive a transfer request.

Reject the transfer request

  1. On the transfer request record, click Reject Request.The Reject request pop-up opens.

  2. From the Reason for Rejecting dropdown, select the reason for rejection.

  3. In the Comments field, enter additional information related to the rejection.Image showing the Reject request screen.

  4. When finished, click Reject. The transfer request status is set to Rejected.

Receive a transfer request

  1. In the navigation bar, click Inventory, then click Intracompany Transfers.

  2. On the Intracompany Transfers screen that opens, click My Request, then click Shipped.

  3. Open the transfer request you want to receive.

  4. On the transfer request record that opens, click Mark as Received.A cursor clicking Mark as Received on the transfer record screen.

The transfer request status is set to Received.
