Get customized Business Units and Job Types ready for your account, providing the essential information during the onboarding process in Jumpstart Workstream.

Feature configuration

  • This feature is currently in Early Access and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. All new customers will have the Jumpstart Workstream workflow enabled for their accounts. Live customers won’t go through this process.

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

Things to Know

  • The Implementation point of contact (POC) assigns each workstream to themselves or someone else in the company to begin the process. This involves answering basic questions about the specific feature area, such as Accounting, Dispatch, Call Center, etc. To learn more, see Assign workstream leads.

  • Business Units and Job types are essential settings to run your business in ServiceTitan. To make their setup smoother and more efficient for you, we use the information you provide us in the Jumpstart Workstream, your website, and ServiceTitan best practices. 

Set up Business Units & Job Types

Here are the key workflows that are done to ensure personalized Business Units and Job Types for your account:

  1. Complete your Jumpstart Workstream.

    1. Provide your company logo, address, and phone number in the initial step of Jupmstart Workstream. Then, answer additional questions in the Dispatch Workstream and Implementation Workstream.

  2. After you have completed step 1, Business Units and Job Types are created in your account. You'll see the Settings ready to Go message when everything is completed in Prepare to Launch.
     Set up Business Units & Job TypesWe use the information that you answered in Jumpstart Workstream, your website, and our ServiceTitan best practices to create these. 

  3. Click View Settings to see the completed settings. On the Settings Completed screen, you can:

    • Click Business Units or Job Types to go to the preconfigured Settings in a new tab.

      Note: You can change the Business Units and Job Types at any time in the Settings. 

    • Click Learn More to open a short learning video.
