Problem

You can't find an item in inventory even after receiving the PO and having serial number settings enabled for the item.

Solution

Item does not appear as received within inventory even though serial number tracking is enabled

Items won't show as received into inventory if the PO was created before inventory tracking was enabled for the item. When the PO was received, it didn't update the inventory count. Follow these steps to correct the issue with an inventory adjustment on serialized items.

  1. In the main navigation bar, click Inventory.

  2. On the left side menu, select Adjustments.

  3. Click the Create New button.

  4. Fill out the adjustment details. Once you select an Inventory Location, items will become available in the Item List.

  5. Select the item from the Item List drop down.

  6. Add the serial number of the received item.

  7. When finish, click Save.
