# How do I fix QuickBooks connection error in ServiceTitan?

## Problem

You receive the error message *You have to setup a QuickBooks Desktop file with an active connection on the Settings page* when trying to export to QuickBooks Desktop in ServiceTitan.

## Solution

1. Check if the batch was created before updating QuickBooks Desktop.
2. If the batch was created before the update, create a new batch.
3. Add payments or invoices to the new batch.
4. Post and export the new batch.

> **Note:** Make sure to set up a QuickBooks Desktop file with an active connection on the Settings page in ServiceTitan before exporting.
