Problem
The HTML for the Google review link is not working correctly in the email job completion survey.
Solution
Obtain your 3rd party review link
Go to your company's 3rd party review site directly to generate a review URL. Use these steps to generate a customer-facing Google Business review link.
If you're adding the review link to the job completion survey text, make sure the URL isn't too long as that could cause mobile providers to split the text into multiple messages.
Note: Reviews left on public review sites won't appear in ServiceTitan if you're just using the legacy Job Completion Surveys. Only the Reputation Management feature under Marketing Pro allows customer-facing reviews to sync into ServiceTitan. Click here for more information on Reputation Management.
Customize the Legacy Job Completion Survey
Log in to your ServiceTitan account
Go to Settings > Communications > Customer Notifications > Job Completion Surveys.
To add the URL to the Text surveys:
Click on the Text tab and then click Customize.
Paste your review URL directly into the Message Content box wherever you want the URL to go.
Note: You cannot add HTML to text messages.
Click the blue Save button at the top to save changes.
To add the URL to Email surveys:
Go to the Email tab and click Customize.
Paste the review link within the Body field.
Note: If you're proficient in HTML, you can click the Edit Html link above the Body and format your review link with display text.
Example: <a href="examplereviewlink.com">Click here to leave us a review!</a>
Click Save to save changes.
Test the survey to ensure the link works
You can book and complete a job for a fake customer with your email address in the customer profile to see how the review link will appear in the customer-facing survey.
