# Filter dashboards

## Overview

By default, dashboards display key performance indicators (KPIs) for the current day for all active business units (BUs). You can filter the dashboard for specific date ranges and BUs.

Things to know

- Applied filters are not saved. If you refresh your browser, the dashboard defaults reload.
- Filtered BUs must also be [mapped to BU divisions](/v1/docs/map-business-units-to-technician-scorecards#map-business-units-to-divisions) to be included on Technician Scorecards. Unmapped BUs are included in other sections of the dashboard.
- Click **Refresh**![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-refresh.png) at the top of the dashboard to update the KPIs with the latest data. ## Filter by date ranges

1. Go to the top toolbar and click **Dashboard** to open the Modular Dashboard.
2. Click the date field at the top of the dashboard to open the date picker. You can:

  2. Use the left menu to select a preset date range:
    1. **Today:**From 12:00 AM to the current time.
    2. **Yesterday:**Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.
    3. **This Week:**From Monday through Sunday of the current week.
    4. **Week to Date:**From Monday through the current date of the current week.
    5. **Last 7 Days:**Previous seven days, including today.
    6. **Last 14 Days:**Previous 14 days, including today.
    7. **Last 30 Days:**Previous 30 days, including today.
    8. **Month to Date:**From the first of the current month to the current day.
    9. **Last Month:**Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.
    10. **Last 90 Days:**Previous 90 days, including today.
    11. **This Quarter:**Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.
    12. **Last Quarter:**Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.
    13. **Quarter to Date:**From the first day of the current quarter to the current day.
    14. **Year to Date:**From January 1 of the current year to the current day.
    15. **Last 365 Days:**Previous 365 days, including today.
    16. **Last Year:** From January 1 of the previous year to December 31.

The dashboard refreshes with data from the selected date range.

## Filter by business unit

1. Click the **Business Units** dropdown at the top of the dashboard.

3. When you’re done, click **Apply**.

The dashboard refreshes with data from the selected BUs.
