Is it possible to exclude specific customers from having a default dispatch fee automatically populate on their invoices in ServiceTitan?

Problem

Default dispatch fees automatically populate on invoices for all customers. There is no built-in way to exclude specific customers from this fee.

Solution

You can remove dispatch fees from existing job types, create a new job type without the fee, or manually remove the fee from the invoice.

Remove the dispatch fee from an existing job type

1. Go to Settings > Operations > Job Types.

2. Find the job type and click Edit.

3. Click the Default Services tab, find the service, and click Delete . 

Create a new job type without a dispatch fee

1. Go to Settings > Operations > Job Types.

2. At the top of the screen, click Add.

3. Set up the job type without including a dispatch fee.

4. Use this job type for customers who shouldn't be charged the fee.

Manually remove the dispatch fee from the invoice

While you're creating an invoice for exempt customers, delete the dispatch fee line item before finalizing the invoice.
