# Error when sending dispatch notifications

## Problem

When sending a dispatch notification, the following error message appears: *Booking confirmation was SMSed to 555-555-5555: Status: Error.*

## Solution

1. In ServiceTitan, go to **Settings > Communications > Customer Notifications > Dispatch Notifications**.
2. In the *Text* tab, check the message content and make sure the message is not longer than 160 characters.
3. If the message is longer than 160 characters, shorten it by 10 or more characters.
4. Try sending the notification again.
