Run payroll reports with earnings codes

You can include earnings codes in payroll reports that you can export for payroll processing.

  1. Follow the steps to run a report based on the Master Pay File report template.

  2. On the report screen, click Edit ColumnsUser interface showing buttons for running reports and editing columns in a software application.The Edit Columns screen opens.

  3. Select the report columns needed for exporting to your payroll processor.        

    Note: Make sure that Pay Code is selected.

     User selects Pay Code from the payroll options list.    

  4. Click Apply and run the report.

  5. Click the Export dropdown and select Export to XLSXUser interface for exporting a master pay file to PDF or XLSX formats.

A XLSX version of the report downloads to your computer that you can edit in a spreadsheet application and import to your payroll processor.
