Things to know
Before you run the report, create earnings codes that match your payroll processor's earnings codes.
Make sure to assign earnings codes to all your pay types.
Run payroll reports with earnings codes
You can include earnings codes in payroll reports that you can export for payroll processing.
Follow the steps to run a report based on the Master Pay File report template.
On the report screen, click Edit Columns.
The Edit Columns screen opens.Select the report columns needed for exporting to your payroll processor.
Note: Make sure that Pay Code is selected.
Click Apply and run the report.
Click the Export dropdown and select Export to XLSX.
A XLSX version of the report downloads to your computer that you can edit in a spreadsheet application and import to your payroll processor.
