# Duplicate Service Agreements

## Overview

The *Duplicate Agreement* feature enables you to create a new Service Agreement (SA) by cloning the existing SA. This saves time to create similar agreements by minimizing manual re-entries and errors, and streamlines workflows by duplicating agreement details into a new draft.

Duplicate an agreement from:

- [SA Proposal Builder screen](/v1/docs/duplicate-service-agreements#duplicate-agreements-from-sa-proposal-builder-screen) when it's in the *Draft* status.
- [Service Agreement Dashboard](/v1/docs/duplicate-service-agreements#duplicate-agreements-from-sa-dashboard) when it's in the *Activated* status.

****Who uses this feature****

- Administrators, accountants, estimators, project managers, and operations managers
- Primarily benefits Commercial Service and Replacement and Commercial Construction business types
- Applies to all trades

## Things to know

- You can duplicate Service Agreements only within a single customer.
- Duplicating an agreement creates a new agreement in *Draft* status, regardless of the status of the original agreement.

## Duplicate agreements from SA Proposal Builder screen

1. 2. On the *Duplicate Agreement* pop-up that opens:
  1. Enter the **Agreement Name**.
  2. Select a **Service Agreement Template**.
  3. Select a **Business Unit**.

The duplicated agreement is created in the *Draft* status.

## Duplicate agreements from SA Dashboard

1. Open the activated Service Agreement.
2. From the [SA Dashboard](/v1/docs/service-agreements-exception-dashboard-overview), click **More ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/duplicate-service-agreements-image-w92fxwwc.png)**, and then select **Duplicate Agreement**. ![Dashboard view of service agreement](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/duplicate-service-agreements-image-8hmbkqqc.jpg)
3. On the *Duplicate Agreement* pop-up that opens:
  1. Enter the **Agreement Name**.
  2. Select a **Service Agreement Template**.
  3. Select a **Business Unit**.
4. When finished, click **Duplicate**.

The duplicated agreement is created in the *Draft* status.
