Overview
Project Groups allows you to group related projects under one view, eliminating the need to switch between reports and projects.
Who uses this feature
Administrators, office employees, managers, and accountants
Primarily for Residential Construction and Commercial Construction business types
Applies to all trades

This feature is currently in Private Preview and available for specific accounts. It is subject to change. If you want to enable this feature for your account, join the waitlist here.
The View Project Portfolio permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
All projects in a group must be assigned to the same customer record in ServiceTitan.

Create a Project Group
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click Create Project Group.

Enter a name for the Project Group.
Search for and select a customer from the Customer dropdown.

Click Create.
Add existing projects to a group
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Click Manage Project Group.

Click Add Existing Project.

Select the projects you want to add to the group.
Click Add.

Create new projects and add them to a group
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Click Manage Project Group.

Click Create New Project.

Select the customer's location for the project. If you need to create a new location, click Add Location.
Click Next.

Enter the Project Details, Contract Information, and Additional Details, where applicable, and click Create Project.
Create project sub groups
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Click Manage Project Group.

Click
Add Sub Group. 
Enter a name for the sub group and click Add. Repeat this step for every sub group you want to create.
Click Save.

From the Manage Project Group screen, click the sub group(s) you created and Add Existing Projects or Create New Projects for it.

Move or remove projects from a project group
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Click Manage Project Group.

Select the project(s) you want to move or remove.
To remove the project(s) from the group, click Remove Project and click Delete to confirm your choice.

To move the project(s) to a different sub group or back to the primary group, click Move Project. Select the group you're moving the project(s) to from the Current Group dropdown and click Move to confirm your choice.

Delete a project group
In order for a project group to be deleted, it must have no projects inside of it.
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Remove all of the projects inside the group.
(Optional) Delete any sub groups by clicking More
> Delete. Click Delete to confirm your choice. 
Return to the project group's Dashboard and click Delete
. 
Click Delete Group to confirm your choice.

Edit a project group's columns
To edit what columns are visible to you in a project group:
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

Click Edit Columns.

Click Lock Column to prevent a column from being hidden or moved.

Click Hide Column to prevent a column from appearing in the Projects table.

Click, hold, and drag a column to change its order in the Projects table.

When finished, click Apply.

Review a project group's statuses
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

From the side menu, click Dashboard.
Review the Project Status column to see what status and substatus each individual project is in.
Tip: You can expand or collapse the data for any groups or sub groups by clicking the black arrow next to their name.
Review a project group's financials
Go to the navigation bar and click Projects.
Click the Project Group tab and click one of your existing groups.

From the side menu, click Financials.
Click Refresh Table to get financial data.

Wait for the refresh to finish and click View from the pop-up or click Financials again.
Review the Project Summary.
Tip: You can expand or collapse the data for any groups or sub groups by clicking the black arrow next to their name.
